Unpreschoolers, favourite toy shops
We asked on the Unschool Australia group what everybody's favourite places to source toys for unpreschoolers were and came up with this list.
Should mention that quite a few listed 'the recycle bin under the sink', 'the garden' or 'the local nature reserve', plus other great outside environments our kids love to visit.
Target, Kmart, BigW, Toyworld and Ikea also got a mention, as did Ebay.
And local community markets were popular for finding quality home made toys from wood or fabric.

Want to learn how to write your own education plans to suit
We began educating our children in 1985, when our eldest was five. In truth, we had helped them learn what they need to learn since they were born. I am a passionate advocate of allowing children to learn unhindered by unnecessary stress and competition, meeting developmental needs in ways that suit their individual learning styles and preferences. Ours was a homeschooling, unschooling and natural learning family! There are hundreds of articles on this site to help you build confidence as a home educating family. We hope that your home educating adventure is as satisfying as ours was! Beverley Paine
